First off this book can be enjoyed by anyone, any age. I have read the whole series so far and can’t wait until I can get them all on my kindle. (I live in Canada) The main character Artemis Fowl is 12, rich and most certainly evil. Although as the series progresses he starts to become a bit more human. There is one book where he forgets everything and we’re stuck with the original Artemis before he met Holly… which was very sad. Luckily it didn’t last long. I highly recommend this series I don’t think there is anyone it would not appeal to. This is the first book Enjoy!

Space Warrior X Deep OK?

I read the reviews online and so far this scale is as promised– works well, looks good, and the price was very reasonable. I like that in the back you can switch it from lbs to kgs with a switch since my husband is European (and I didn’t even know about that when I ordered it). I also like that you don’t have to tap it once to make it work– you can just step on it.

I didn’t like the new “ribbon” idea at all. It has taken me months to get the menu, sorry ribbon, to look anything like it should. Contrary to Microsoft’s belief, most workers do not get any time at all to configure software to look the way they want. If it isn’t familiar our of the box, it is a failure.

Access crashes all the time and has made me totally unproductive. I now work in Access 2003 instead.

Avoid … too many faults to list here in too many areas. What a total time-wasting pile of rubbish!

20 x Stretched 30 to you

I truly loved this book, and found more meaning in it than any other I have ever read. It’s not about blowing you away with high minded concepts, it’s about clarifying what IS obviously true about existance. I’ve recommended it to several friends and some feel as I do, it was great and insightful, and others did not get anything from it. The ones who did not like it all have something in common, however. They are people who are not into thinking about thinking, philosophy and abstract concepts and have a truly open mind. They are good friends nonetheless, and I wish they could have seen more in the book that spoke to them. Like me, the friends who really ‘got the book’ are fairly excitied about what it illuminates and clarifies. To say this was an inspired work would be the understatement of the decade.

What can I tell you: GET IT, READ IT, draw your own conclusions. My conslusion: TRULY GREAT

One thing I should really point out: This is NOT a book about religion.

FYI: I am a pretty casual runner (9½ min miles), hitting the road 3-4 times a week averaging maybe 4 miles a run. I bought the Forerunner primarily as an electronic diary, and to compete virtually with friends too far away to meet up with. I’ve only had the Forerunner for a few months.

This is one of those products that I have never regretted buying, not for one second. I would give it 4½ stars if I could as the Training Center (TC) software is so weak. Why are the TC maps so bad when the Garmin Connect maps so good? However, it does all that I expected of it and has helped me in ways I did not expect (thus the 5 stars). I find myself watching my pace to make sure I’m not overdoing it at the beginning of a run which helps me feel much better at the end of a run. And it’s been a great motivator as I love to see new runs posted on the Garmin Connect web site. I’ve also enjoyed the Autolap feature that breaks my runs into 1 mile segments (customizable) allowing me to compare the early and late miles.

Pluses:
While there is no doubt that it is big, I don’t find it annoying or bothersome (this concerned me prepurchase).
Tracking is great – I can see where I cross a street, etc.
HRM data seems pretty good. No weird dropouts, but very very occasionally there is a small spike near the start of a run (I wonder if I properly prep’d the HRM strap).
Price – Amazon was asking ~$150 when I got mine – that’s not too much more than some higher end HRM’s.

Minuses:
The Garmin Training Center software is horrible – fortunately there are much better freeware/donationware programs out there like SportTracks.
Sometimes the elvation data can be… off. It had me 40 feet under water once while kayaking.
Under solid canopies of trees (one trail I use in particular) the pace data can be off a bit – has me running 8min then 12min miles when I’ve been pretty steady. As I’m not trying to win races, it’s no big deal for me.

As a casual user, I haven’t tried the more advan

I purchased the portable friction mount for my new Garmin because I was concerned where I was going to mount it in my Prius. The friction mount solved the problem perfectly. It is intuitive, easy to use and reposition, and has enough resistance to movement that I can rotate my Garmin without any slippage.

The only negative I see is I tried it in my wife’s 2004 Camry and it was harder to find a good spot to place it for easy access. Having only tried it in 2 cars, I can only assume it is easier to find a good location in some cars than others.

This has been a boost to my training program . I have a great running group that sends a map of the course to be run each week that can be simply downloaded on to my fore runner 305 so I can focus on running not the street I need to turn on . Plus trail running is my fav. and after the run it is fun to look at my course and speed and distance which when you just run random trails was hard to calculate before.

this game is everything you want in a game. We played this for the first time tonight with my almost 14 year old son. It’s got the best attributes going for it. 1) Fun 2) More strategic than the original game 3) Short game completion time. 4) Visually it’s a cool looking game 5) Lots of pieces but they are easily stored in the game itself.

Great how my son was so excited to play somethng that wasn’t a video game. We played several rounds in one night.
