Garmin watch is great for runners. If you use the software and online features, its definitely worth the money. The only setback is that the satellite can take 15-20 seconds to start sending signals to watch in some situations. It happens randomly and I can’t really explain it. I’ve gotten signal immediately while sitting in my house but had to wait up to a minute standing outside on a clear, sunny day.

The depth of the characters and their voices hold you while reading this book. I’m generally a non-fiction reader but this author writes so beautifully that I felt I was watching a movie. The range of emotions that the characters experience flowed to me as the reader. Some situations made me uncomfortable for the characters…now THAT’S a well-written piece.

I highly recommend spending a few hours with this cast.

This is my 2nd HJ-112. The previous one worked for 2 years w/absolutely no problems. I didn’t even have to change the battery for at least 18 months. The only reason I needed a new one is that I dropped the old one once too many times. I’m very pleased with this pedometer and feel like it’s the most accurate brand and style I’ve owned.

Read about HD ContourHD Helmet – now

The camera is perfect for what it is designed for: outdoor sports. I’ve used it skiing and biking, worked great.

Cons: There are a few caveats though. The sensor is not very sensitive so no night filming for you. During the day it is great. While skiing I’ve had the microphone stop working once in a while, it’s either the cold or snow from my gloves blocked the hole.

Pros: Battery lasts long and is chargeable with any USB complaint charger, I’ve used my iphone’s and also GPS’s. Head mounting is the way to go to reduce shake, it’s way better than mounting any camera onto a bike’s handle bar.

Future: It would be great to have wireless access to the camera, to get the live video feed and also to control, say, start and stop. Having ad-hock wireless network and feeding the video directly onto an iphone would be a blast!

Let me start by saying that I can see why a lot of people wouldn’t like this book, especially a lot of people who have to read it for school. To many people, it seems like the typical “teenage angst” kind of book, and it’s very easy to think that the whole way through the book. If you learn nothing from this book then you didn’t get the meaning behind it – it’s a blunt statement, either you agree or you don’t. And if you *do* get the meaning behind it, but found it to be boring or repetitive anyway, then that is your opinion. Some people just simply don’t like the same books.

I have to admit, when I first started reading Catcher in the Rye I was a bit struck at why it was considered a classic in literature. With me, I started seeing something deeper when I got to the middle of the book. It isn’t until you start seeing the same things being repeated that you start to notice. The title of my review is a great example. Holden Caulfield is a prime example of questioning youth. Most teenagers aren’t focused on morals, nor do many of them think deeply about what goes on in the world. And the few that do are like Holden; they’re confused, lonely, and scared as hell. So the more I read and the deeper I delved into the meanings behind Holden’s thoughts and ideas, the more I began to understand. Holden Caulfield isn’t just the average 16-year old. He is, yet he isn’t. He *thinks* deeper than the average teenager. He’s still immature in a lot of his thinking throughout the book but overall his character is just this mass of confusion. He seems confused at a lot of things, at why a lot of people are the way they are, yet he himself isn’t perfect. That is what shapes his character. He isn’t flawless, and the author, Salinger, clearly brings that out to the reader. Sometimes Holden contradicts himself – a flaw within himself that is telling the readers that he is human. By developing his character in this way, I saw it as a way to make you both like and dislike him. If you liked

ATI 4870 HD Radeon no mad

Like CDrat wrote, this card does indeed work with the 1st generation Woodcrest Mac Pro. I read that you have to be running Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later for this to work. I have Snow Leopard installed on my 1st gen Mac Pro and all is well. Note, though, that this card runs 256MB of GDDR5 memory (and not 512MB) in the 1st Gen Mac Pro. This is fine and I hardly notice the difference. Also, this card is PCI Express 2.0 whereas the 1st gen Mac Pro is PCI Express 1.0. PCI Express 2.0 is backwards compatible.

A few notes:

- Installation of this card was almost a breeze – except it was annoying attaching the power cords to the motherboard as I have big hands and the position of where I was supposed to plug in the smaller clips was placed in an awkward position on the Mac Pro motherboard. But this is more a critique of the Mac Pro than the card itself.

- When Mac Pro boots you can really hear the fan on this – but only for a few seconds. Afterwards this card is extremely quiet.

- Motion 3 runs really well using this card. As it should.

- I bought this card primarily to run a refurbished 24″ Apple LED Cinema Display because the display requires a mini DisplayPort (which is kind of silly for a display in that price range). Great combination.

In summary, this is a great card to get for your 1st gen Mac Pro.
