I notices that the older models are Valued at a higher rate then the newer Versions and models ….this is very strange to sell things that are out of date at a higher price then the Newest product….The only reason there at a higher rate is because of the way u can exploit them ….The item i got was very nice and worked great …..for the price i think it is very strange

I bought this card for my Canon SX110IS with the intention of never having to worry about it becoming full on me. It is fast enough that the camera speed is the only thing holding me back from lots of shots. I have been using it four two years and have not had any problems with it. I recently purchased a WII because I thought I would get great value for my money and I was right! I love the interactive feature of this console! You really feel as if u are in the game! Gotta love it! And while buying online does come with the worry that something may not be working or maybe broken I could definitely say Amazon is a site that offers great products. I am happy that I made this purchase.

I bought this scales after a friend purchased the same one a year earlier. I tried my friends one out and liked it. I loved the blue lit display! You can use the scales in the dark. My friend’s scales was a touch-to-activate older version. It didnt strike me at the time how bad the touch-to-activate system was. After buying this one and simply stepping on one time to weigh myself, I discovered the beauty of this updated version. My friend has his in the bathroom now, so every time I visit him and use his bathroom I knock into his scales and activate the touch-to-activate system. The display lights up as a result of this knocking. This makes me frown and love my newer version even more.

This newer version’s readings are consistent and sensitive. Its just great! Nothing wrong with it.

ps: dont miss the batteries in the package. I almost did.

When we purchased our new TV a couple of months ago, I purchased expensive Phillips HDMI cables (x2) for about $40 each. The picture was beautiful and crisp as was the sound, but I hated that I spent about $90 for TV cables. I felt it was a rip off. So I decided to read some reviews of a cheaper version and was thrilled that not only could I get a cable for $2.50 a pop, but they received such astounding reviews. I figured for this price, it was worth trying at least.

Perhaps this cable has received such good reviews only because it was the first cable purchased and the reviewers had nothing else to compare it to, or perhaps it works better on a 60 Hz TV and doesn’t support the 120 Hz HDTV’s, I don’t know… But I feel that since I purchased such an expensive TV and since I pay for HD service through my satellite company, I am going to chuck these to the garage sale pile and go out and buy the more expensive cables and get the brilliant, vivid picture. After all, that is why I bought this TV.

Really, for $2.50, you might be like me and want to just give them a shot to see if it works for you. Perhaps you’ll be like the majority here and love the quality. Unfortunately, I did not.

The book is set in Ireland for the most part and is written by an Irish author. Artemis Fowl is a twelve year old genius, who lives on an estate outside of Dublin. He has decided to replace his family’s failing wealth by stealing a Fairy’s `Book’. Artemis learns the language and customs of fairies, and develops a complicated plan to capture a fairy, Holly, in order to trade her for all the gold in the LEPrecons hostage fund. Holly is an energetic Fairy with a bit to prove since her recent catastrophe. The book is fast paced and interesting. The difference between the two worlds is intriguing. The author alternates between the viewpoint of Artemis and Holly. At one point in the middle of the book, the author’s voice pops in and introduces another character, literally. The effect was a speed bump while reading. This is a world where the different species interact; dwarf, trolls, mud people (humans) and fairies are alive and interesting. The author alluded to at least two other stories related to the characters in this book. The problem with the book is I didn’t really identify with any of the characters. There were interesting passages about Artemis and Holly, the Butler character was intriguing, and Commander Root was unique, but none of them had me cheering for them to succeed. Holly was the friendliest character, but she was not the main character. It would be interesting to have a student debate the ethics of Artemis’ plan. What was the good Artemis accomplished? Or was there any at all? The end of the book specifically states that we should not interpret Artemis’ actions regarding his mother and anything other than selfishness. Students will identify with Artemis because he is so smart, smarter than everyone around him, what kid doesn’t feel that? He gets to order around all the adults in his world as well. A good read and most enjoyable. The humor in this book about nursing homes is right on the mark. The characters are believable and likeable. The story line is good and romantic. The ending is open for discussion–but good.
