Determinants acceptance of user cool
I purchased the Garmin Forerunner 305 and also the Garmin Forerunner 205 as gifts for my partner and my father, both of whom are avid runners. After more than 6 months of continuous use, both my partner and my father are extremely happy with their beloved, digital running tools and have reported the following findings:
* The heart rate monitor on the Forerunner 305 works like a charm every time.
* The device fits comfortably on the wrist and the display is easy to read while running.
* The device is easy to use and the settings are easy to adjust to specific preferences.
* The GPS performance on both models is impressively accurate and consistent (even in cloudy weather although this does sometimes delay the time it takes to acquire a signal). My partner was even able to use all of the features on the Forerunner while in the middle of the ocean on a cruise.
* It accurately monitors factors like speed, time, pace, calories burned, and distance. It even allows you to set individual alerts for specific speed, time, pace, calories burned, or distance targets so that you know when you have reached a particular goal without having to look at the display.
* The various training modes available come in handy when biking, walking, or playing sports.
* The mapping features are helpful in plotting and saving new routes.
Overall, the Garmin Forerunner seems to be an ideal tool for the average running enthusiast.
