I’ve bought Kindle 2 after selling my old Kindle DX which was to big for me. Kindle 2 is the best reading experience I have ever had. Read when and where you want – battery won’t drain in less then 2 weeks. Buying books from Amazon is as easy as sending SMS from my mobile. I love it. Occasionally you can access any websites on internet from your book – it’s really cool feature.

Reading books on Kindle is like reading paperback books. The only difference is the weight – Kindle is very light but not to much so it’s almost ideal device.

Cons:
- poor internet browser (but it’s not so important)
- clicks when switching page

I purchased the Garmin 305 as a 50something runner coming off of an extended injury. I have run marathons in the past but was somewhat concerned about what seemed like starting all over again. I decided that using a heart rate monitor would be the way for me to go. The reason I bought the 305 was a combination of the features offered and the price.
I have been using the 305 for about 3 weeks and overall I have been very pleased. Using the included software it is very easy to create custom workouts based on distance, time, pace, and heart rate and download them to the Garmin. Then simply select that workout and press the start button. the Garmin does the rest. It gives me signals to let me know when my heart rate or pace are not in the zone I am shooting for. It also signals anything else I program into the workout, such as when I reach mile splits or when to change pace. when the workout is over it also signals that and stops automatically. All I have to do is place it in it’s cradle and it automatically uploads all of my workout data.
The only thing I am not pleased with is the inability of the software to track some of the things I would like. For example, it will not track equipment usage. I like to know how many miles my shoes have on them. I have found a couple of programs that I am currently evaluating. Both will do much more than the free Garmin program. They both have a trial version but require a licensing fee for the full version.

I grew up in the 60’s so I could relate to the history background of this book. I felt the characters rang true even the ones I didn’t like. So many of the characters were products of that time in history and thier environment. I liked the ending, it gave you the sense that the three main characters had a lot more to offer the world in the way of positive change.

For about a year and a half I struggled with a Belkin KVM switch to allow me to have instant access to my Mac Mini and Dell computers. It was extremely buggy: it would often switch on its own from one computer to the other; monitor quality using one computer was very good, and on the other it had a greenish tint; sometimes the switch would not allow me access at all to one or the other computers. Another problem with the Belkin was that wires came out of both ends of it making it difficult to position physically. Belkin tech support was helpful, but after hearing about the Starview switch, I had to give it a try.

As other reviewers have noted, you simply plug everything in, and it works! What could be better. I’ve been using it now for about a month and have had no problem. I have a very large 24″ wide-screen Dell monitor, and both the Mac and PC look beautiful on it. I am also using a wireless keyboard and mouse with no problem. The USB printer I hooked up to the KVM switch also works flawlessly on both machines. All the wires come out the back, so if you want to position this on your desk, you can do so in a way that the wires don’t show.

Its only minor downside is its appearance – it’s a very utilitarian metal box. But I hide mine just within reach under my desk, so no one sees it anyway.

In a nutshell, if you need a KVM switch, this is the one!

It takes a while to learn where everything is, but it is usable and I think I am going to enjoy using it.

I’m not a big reader of fiction, but I so enjoyed this book and even sent it off as a gift. It has a great plot and it keeps you reading – very hard to put down.
