this game is everything you want in a game. We played this for the first time tonight with my almost 14 year old son. It’s got the best attributes going for it. 1) Fun 2) More strategic than the original game 3) Short game completion time. 4) Visually it’s a cool looking game 5) Lots of pieces but they are easily stored in the game itself.

Great how my son was so excited to play somethng that wasn’t a video game. We played several rounds in one night.

Future classic with a few down sides…. From a mom of 4 (8,6,4,1) a great game and lots of family fun for all ages… For 8 and up??? all ages can play!! even our youngest was laughing while dropping checkers into the slots, while our 4 year old was testing out different strategies. I expect just like the classic version.. this will be a family favorite.

Its amazing how adding another row of slots.. and one or two players changes everything… its going fun testing out new ways to win…

I know Hasbro puts a great amount of thought into their products..

There could be several reasons for having the game be completely self contained… less packaging, more eco friendly, but in a house with small kids a box to help ensure no lost pieces would be great, so I’ll make a case for it.. but if thats my big disappointment, well done hasbro…

The flip bottom stand is a great improvement from the old snap together..(from the original version) however, Connect 4 x 4 could have a clip or something to keep it from being collapsible during game play. Again.. something really minor, but it has happened.

Game play wise.. its great! not one to miss!! Fun for all ages!!

Connect 4×4 review. My 6 year old grandson really enjoys playing connect 4×4 with his family and friends. The game makes the participants think ahead, plan and react to each competitors moves. The game is GREAT for all ages.
