This is the 3rd book by Black that I have read and as with the others I was not disappointed. The story and character development was great and helped to draw you into the story. As I have found with Black’s other books, she is great at her descriptions and details of the surroundings and key events in the book. This is a must read.
Hearts Aflame

This card failed on first full use – the first day of my holiday – and again on subsequent uses in a camera compatible with 16G SDHC cards. I was able to download the photos that had been taken up until the point at which the error occurred.

Errors were at multiple points on the card – 6.2G initially then after a reformat at 9.4G. This time removing and replacing the card and camera battery revived the card, but it failed again at 9.4G and stayed dead. Again though I could retrieve the photos using a card reader.

The card did compare well to a Sandisk 4G Class 6 SDHC card on speed testing – both took 42 shots in 40s on a Canon Powershot G11.

Back to Sandisk. I guess the reliability of the Sandisk cards justifies the extra cost.

I had a smart label printer in the past and loved it. It did its job for a decade or more with no problems. But when I upgraded my computer, I found that it would not work and that at that time there was no Smart Label that would work with Vista. So I bought a Brother product which I thought would be the same. It was not. The labels looked the same (although they came in a spindle thing that was more expensive and the software was a lot more complicated. When I switched to MAC last year, I again was faced with incompatibles and saw the Smart Label 450. It is not as user friendly as the original SLP, but it is easier than the brother and does not require filling out “forms” on each piece of address info in the correct field. With the SLP you just type it in and it goes. Much easier. It’s easier to connect up and the labels can be purchased almost anywhere. And you get to choose SLP ones or generic.
Importing is not all that complicated. I don’t need all the functions that are available, so it all could be simpler, but for those with more complex mailing lists, I think that might be a plus. All in all this is a much better product than the Brother.

This is a wonderful season of interesting stories about the travels of SG-1 through the Stargate. It’s well worth your purchase.

This is the 2nd one of these I own. I used the first watch over 5 years before a battery replacement didn’t seal and allowed salt water to ruin the watch. I enjoyed the watch so much because of its appearance and function.
Casio Men s AMW320D

Well another product I purchased thinking… okay I’m just throwing my money away. HDMI cables don’t cost two dollars, they cost 30 dollars and up… clearly the retail stores and/or cable manufacturers wouldn’t lie to me and overprice their cables… would they?

Long story short they did. I put these cables against a 36 dollar Vizio cable which was the cheapest I could find at my local walmart. They are running through a switch box due to my tv only having one input for HDMI and I gotta say compared to PC video quality on HDMI from Monitor to GPU (22″inch 720p Vizio tv as a monitor plugged into a pc with an 1gb ATI Radeon card) the image quality is no different from the vizio cable I was using. Now from the TV to the Xbox, again no difference between that and the vizio cable. All in all Id say these cables are a win, apparently they are only class 1 though according to other customer reviews. So if all you need is an HDMI cable and you dont wanna get ripped a new one at the local store, just buy this.
Cables Unlimted Wireless USB

This scale is very simple to use – just step on. No need to set and reset. The display is large and easy to read. So far this scale has been very consistent and reliable. Also, it’s a nice looking product, as scales go. I thought from the photo that the base was white, but it’s clear plexiglass.
All in a Thought

I have been purchasing books from Amazon.com since they first opened for business. It has been fun watching them grow and prosper. They couldn’t have done that if they didn’t provide good service and products. I will continue to purchase from them.

The book I purchased was Conversations With God #1. I have already read this book and the others in the series over and over. I purchase it again from time to time to give to someone else. It is an important book.
Apple iPhone 3G Premium

Artemis fowl was a fairly good book. there was action , adventure, and all that good stuff, but it was a little predictable. Artemis fowl wants the fairy gold, they get into a battle, and then, what’s next? The fairies get the gold back and Artemis stays alive with Butler. But the whole plot was great and I could even imagine the setting in my head. Overall, the whole story was good! Read “Artemis Fowl!!”
