Women #LTP1131G 9A Casio the best
I purchased this pedometer about a month ago. Prior to this purchase I have owned at least 4 other brand name pedometers that never performed as promised. When I received the Ormon, I calibrated it ( very easy to do) using the same information as my other pedometers and went out to measure my current walking route. I was amazed at how accurate and consistant the readings were. It was within 30 paces of the actual distance. My other pedometers measured up to several hundred paces +/- of the correct distance and never the same distance twice. I have recommended this to other friends and wear it from the time I get going in the morning to the time I go to bed. It’s a great way to monitor your 10,000 steps a day and I am always trying to beat the previous days reading. The Omron HJ-112 is definately a keeper!

Wipes Pampers Refill Lavender series
I promised some students I would give the “Twilight” series a try this summer, so I borrowed my niece’s copy and gave it a try. While I did enjoy the book, I don’t think I’ll finish the series. I could definitely see adolescent girls love for this book. It is actually a rather chaste love story. Great for girls who need innocent romance and a bit of rebellion. I would have probably been hooked back in the day. Having been to Forks (in the 80’s) it was good to visualize that beautiful area. I’m not big on vampires, although this really didn’t seem like a vampire book. More a version of the white knight rescuing. It is really cool how many different ages of people I have spoken with who love the series. Don’t know if I Netflix the movie or not…

Where to get Chain The Planet Bike
Yeah, it’s cheap. So i thought: it’s only $3 so i’ll give it a try. Well, I got taken. I connected it, and got an average picture but no sound. So I disconnected it, rerouted the cable and reconnected. This time i got a snowy picture, with sound. So, after reading the troubleshooting guide, i went to Best Buy and bought a $30 cable. It worked perfecto. If it’s too good to be true, it really isn’t worth it. This product should not even be sold by Amazon. It isn’t suitable for the average person to use in normal home usage.

Lectures Inspiration eight on lies
This is the very best pedometer I have ever owned and I have owned a few. Once you get your stride measured accurately it keeps perfect count, measures ONLY steps and not other movements. Works equally well whether it’s attached to your waist band or in a pants or jacket pocket. Not too long ago when I was getting ready to go out of town I didn’t have it fastened securely to my pants. As I lifted my dog into the car it must have popped off. About half way to our destination I realized it was gone and assumed I had either left it on a counter at home or dropped it in the driveway. Five days later I found it in the driveway. It had survived days of rain, yet it was still working well. I would purchase this item again!!!

They work and didn’t cost an arm and a leg as if I had bought them from Best Buy or Walmart.
Digital signal is all or nothing here. So these work great.

Apache for Dummies Server beta
If you would otherwise be put off by the “For Dummies” title, don’t be. Ken is a long time member of the Apache Group. This book is written in such a way that it’s useful for both the novice and the experienced Web site administrator. The first Apache book I read offered nothing I hadn’t picked up in the comments in the configuration files. A few years later, I read Ken’s book. “Apache Server For Dummies” offered lot’s of new information. The book is organized in such a way that each topic is presented in sections of increasing complexity. If you’ve found what you need, you can stop. If you want more, you can keep on reading within each topic.

I just learned that J.D Salinger has died.
American literature has lost one of its most influential and everlasting voices.

Catcher in the Rye has many relevant meanings for the teenagers of today. Holden Caufield’s confusions and frustrations are those of most teenagers who want to connect with other people and belong to a certain social quota. J.D Salinger presents to us a novel full of symbolism, imagery, and adolescent complexity that fufills it’s overall goals of giving us a glimpse into the life and psyche of a troubled and disturbed teenager who tries making connections with people he doesn’t know ending up in, as mean as this may sound, humorous failed attempts. The overall theme in this novel doesn’t comply any moral as did Ovid’s fables back in ancient Greece. Catcher in the Rye tends to be more interpretive in that manner. Holden’s inability to truly connect with people is due to his inability to immature and let go of pain.
“People never notice anything” (Pg 9). It’s in this quote that we really see what type of person Holden really is. Nobody around Holden seems to understand him, seems to understand his angers and confusions. Everyone is just as about as “phony as he is”. It’s in these beginning chapters we notice that something is wrong with Holden. something that doesn’t quite match up. He’s a white male with well-off parents that can afford to send him off to boarding school and he purposefully flunks out by not even attempting to study. It’s not until later on in the novel that we learn of James Castle and his brother Allie that there is a reason for this rebellion and personal wall that he has erected for himself. It’s how Holden breaks this wall that makes this book powerful and a very compelling and humorous read.

So…I’m an avid reader and have books on top of books in my bookshelves and books shoved in and on nightstand and dresser drawers. I’ve even thought about getting a second job in a bookstore in order to get a discount on books. My husband, knowing my love of books, bought me a Kindle 2 for Christmas. After four months of usage, I decided to finally write a review (my first on Amazon). I love my Kindle for several reasons which I will discuss below:
I’m practically blind:
Seriously. I have worn glasses or contacts since I was in the 7th grade. I can’t see my hand as anything other than a blob 6″ in front of my face without my contacts and I spend 8 hours a day in front of my computer at work. The Kindle’s e-Ink technology is easy on my tired eyes. Also, the adjustable text is a lovely lovely feature (yes, I have it set on the largest setting).
Punctuality:
I HATE being late. I’d rather be 30 minutes early than 5 minutes late. Kindle’s sleek design allows it to fit in my purse and I carry it everywhere I go. I am able to sit in my car/waiting room reading. If I happen to finish a book while waiting, I have access to all the books I’ve downloaded or the thousands available from Amazon.
Guilty Pleasures:
I’ll admit it here in my review, since I will probably never meet any of you (and even if I do, you won’t know it’s me)…I love reading romance novels. They are so cheesy, it’s a bit embarrassing to be caught in public reading them (while waiting for what not). My Kindle hides my guilty pleasure!
Environment:
I like to think of myself as an environmentalist. Purchaing e-books reduces the need to cut down trees. The fact that the e-books are cheaper doesn’t hurt either.
Content:
There are thousands of books available on Amazon. Some of which are free! There are also hundreds of free books via the Gutenburg project and some of the publishing companies’ websites. These are easy to load onto your Kindle by converting them via a third party soft

Information about and Coach Director Athletic
Was on the fence about whether to wait for the Ipad or get the kindle. So happy I chose the kindle. I travel for overseas and the ability to get the International Hearld Tribune delivered to my kindle on a daily basis from almost anywhere on the globe is fantastic. Combine it that feature with the ability to put my own PDF documents on this device and the library of books and magazines that you can order really makes this ideal for someone that travels.
No longer do I have to carry several books with me on a trip. Just take the kindle and I am all set. The readability of the screen can not be overstated. Great in all lighting conditions. I would definitely buy again.
